I am a VICO Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Virginia, working with Ilse Cleeves to better understand how stars and planets form. My recent research focuses on the interactions between planet-forming disks and their environments.
I got my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIITDM Jabalpur, India. However, the subjects I studied there lacked a certain gravity for me (pun intended), and I soon discovered my passion for astronomy. That journey led me through internships at ARIES, India, a master’s degree at NCU, Taiwan, a summer internship at ASIAA, Taiwan, and most recently, a Ph.D. at the European Southern Observatory (ESO).
Besides astronomy, I enjoy reading random books, cooking (mostly Indian food), hiking, swimming, pretending to play bansuri (bamboo flute), and exploring more of our beautiful planet.
